Detailed description:

Expanded fireproof felt is a functional, light and thin fireproof surface felt, which is made of high temperature resistant fiber bundles, added with expanders, smoke suppressants and other ingredients, and applied with adhesives through a wet-molding process. Expanded fireproof felt has the characteristics of high-temperature resistance, fire prevention, heat insulation, flame retardancy, and smoke suppression. When the critical temperature exceeds 190℃, it will be activated and expand rapidly. After expansion, the maximum thickness can reach 40 times the original thickness, and the initial sheet shape will be transformed into a loose and porous sponge-like inert carbon layer, with an enlarged surface area and increased surface energy. The expanded inert carbon layer has softness, compression resilience, adsorption, and stability, which can effectively isolate the underlying material from the fire source, prevent the spread of flames and smoke, and greatly reduce the degradation rate of flammable materials.

This series of expanded fireproof felt can be impregnated with resin for fire protection of composite materials, or laminated with other panels to form structural flame-retardant fireproof panels. It can also be widely used for gap filling and sealing in various occasions.
